Hence Kramatorsk is a city of Donetsk Oblast, in eastern Ukraine. It is an important industrial and mechanical engineering centre in Ukraine. On 8 April 2022, during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Kramatorsk was subjected to missile strikes. The Kramatorsk railway station was hit by Tochka-U missiles which killed at least 57 people and wounded at least 109 others.
